I hope everyone is doing well as we move to close out 2020.

What a year!

We’ve had a lot of questions about the Taproom and when it will open so I wanted to give you an update on that and some timings.

Due to the uncertainty that the pandemic has caused, especially in Victoria with the prolonged lock down we’ve had to delay the taproom build. It seems a long time ago that we had complete lockdown of the state, but if we cast our memory back to just 2 months ago it was difficult to know for sure if bars and restaurant were going to be able to open for indoor dining and drinking before 2021. As an indoor venue that was particularly relevant for us.

The delay of the Taproom was a difficult decision for us as we fought for 4 years to get a permit. The good news is that we are starting the build at the start of January next year. We are hoping to be open by April/May, all things tracking well.

I will keep you up to date with photos as soon as it starts as we’d love to have you along for the journey. Here are some renders in the meantime.

It’s exciting times here at Deeds after all the great beer in 2020. And with even more exciting beers next year and the launch of our sour and barrel program, we cannot wait to have you come and visit us.
